How AI Can Be a Tool for the Gospel (With Caution and Discernment)

Once upon a time, Christian creators had to fight to get access to platforms — printing presses, radio stations, TV shows. Today, the battlefield has changed, and so have the tools. We’re not just dealing with microphones and guitars anymore. We’re now working with AI — and it’s everywhere.

For some, that sounds scary and it has it’s share of positives and negatives. As a Christian and also tech person in the industry in my secular job (Software Engineer)..
For me AI, it sounds like a God-given opportunity.

Let me explain.

AI Isn’t the Message — It’s Just the Tool

There’s a growing fear that AI is replacing human creativity. And yes, when people let AI generate full sermons, devotionals, or music without any conviction behind or worse fake content preaching a false Gospel, that becomes a real dangerous problem.

But that’s not our goals — and it’s not what faithful Christian creators are doing, either.

When we create an article or a song or use AI to help research and learn as used for any type of learning in today’s age with how technology is advancing so rapidly, for us atleast it starts from our own conviction 100%, our burden, our story, our content that we want to share after having learned from all of the wonderful teachings of the the Gospel which we are students of Christ and certainly never spread a false teaching or Gospel.

We pour out our thoughts, build the theme around something real — a biblical truth, a struggle we lived, a wonderful teaching or biblical lesson that moves our soul, or a moment the Holy Spirit pressed on our hearts. From there, we use AI the same way writers used editors back in the 90’s, it’s just another tool to use:

  • To clean up grammar

  • To reword awkward phrasing

  • To format things for clarity and style

But the message? That’s 100% ours. And more importantly — it’s biblical and with the objective to reach out and save souls to share the beautiful word and good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ

AI to learn Scripture:

AI can actually be a powerful tool for learning Scripture and enhancing your Bible studies—if used with caution and always validated against the Word of God. It can help you explore cross-references, understand historical context, and dig deeper into the meaning of passages. However, discernment is crucial.

Avoid using platforms like Gemini, as they are often programmed with progressive biases that can distort biblical truth. These systems may present answers that align more with cultural trends or left-leaning ideologies rather than sound doctrine. Always compare what you read with Scripture itself, and when in doubt, seek wisdom from trusted pastors, theologians, or solid biblical commentaries. I recommend always using a good prompt to discern the biblical truth and the Bible Chat for Chat GPT

Remember: AI is a tool—not a teacher. The Holy Spirit remains your ultimate guide to truth.

Music: Reaching the Lost Through Sound

Let’s talk about music.

I used to be a metalhead. I know what it feels like to be drawn to heavy music that speaks to pain, rage, or chaos. But I also know what it’s like to have your soul slowly poisoned by lyrics that glorify death, hate, or hopelessness.

So I asked myself: What if we could flip that?

What if the intensity of metal could be used to preach hope?
What if the power of sound could carry the power of the Gospel?

That’s exactly what we create. We use AI to create songs that sound like the typical Metal Core groups — but with lyrics grounded in 100% Scripture or heavy techno electronic beats that today are catchy.

Me personally, I have always loved this type of music, but as a Christian now, I cannot listen to the secular vile, evil, malicious, mundain or egotistical content in the lyrics anymore because a lot of it promotes what the Lord doesn’t promote and more the world or secular lifestyles.

Instead now, we create Songs that talk about the cross, the blood of Christ, spiritual warfare, and the hope of resurrection, the Apostoles, the Deciples, etc..

This isn’t just “Christian metal” for Christians.
It’s a bridge for the lost.
It’s a call to come out of darkness into the light.

Some might criticize that, since it’s AI-generated, it must not be good. But that’s exactly why we created it—because it doesn’t exist and we need to save these souls as much as possible in all areas, we go into the world to save them and bring them to Christ. Today’s secular music is saturated with sin, promoting sexuality, ego, violence, narcissism, lust, and idolatry. It’s not just entertainment; it’s spiritual warfare.

We believe the world doesn’t need more noise and spiritual poision—it needs the Gospel. 100% truth. 100% Christ. So if it doesn’t exist yet, we will create it even in these music genres which might be stronger or aggressive, We’ll praise the Lord through every sound, word, and image—100% biblical (you can read  the lyrics for yourself) and we will not apologize for preaching the Gospel.

But don’t just take our word for it—test everything, discern for yourselves. As Scripture says:

“Examine everything; hold fast to what is good.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:21 (NVI)

We’re not here to copy the world. We’re here to reclaim the tools of the age and use them for God’s glory. If AI can be used to produce evil garbage that poisons the soul, then it can also be redeemed to declare truth that sets people free. The message is what matters—and we’re making sure the message is Christ.

Strategic Evangelism with Modern Tools

Here’s what we believe:
We have a responsibility to go where people are. We cannot let the enemy control the media.

Right now, AI is being used to push deception, lust, pride, and rebellion.
The enemy has already taken the stage.
But instead of retreating in fear, we should run toward the fight.

  • If AI is writing articles for the world, we’ll use it to amplify biblical truth.

  • If AI is composing music for the culture, we’ll use it to declare Jesus through melody.

  • If the world is shaping the future through tech, we will shape it too — but for the Kingdom of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, not for the world.

This is exactly what Paul meant when he said:

“I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.” – 1 Corinthians 9:22 (NVI)

Here are just a few powerful examples from the Bible that show this principle in action:

  • Acts 9:15 — The Lord tells Ananias:

“Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel.”
Paul was sent to multiple groups — not just to the comfortable or familiar.

  • 1 Corinthians 9:19–23
Paul explains how he adapts himself:

“Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible.”
“…I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.”

  • Acts 17:16–34
Paul walks through Athens, sees the idolatry, and preaches in the marketplace. Then, in the Areopagus, he uses their own altar and philosophies to introduce the Gospel. He didn’t wait for them to come to him — he went to them.

  • Acts 28:23
In Rome, Paul meets with people from morning till evening, using the Law and the Prophets to persuade them about Jesus. He used every opportunity and reference point available to reach people where they were.

So when we use AI, music, or any tool to speak to people in their own “language” — digital, cultural, musical — we are walking in the footsteps of Paul.

We’re not compromising.
We’re contextualizing.
We’re redeeming the tools of this generation so Christ can reach those who feel unreachable and coming from an ex metal head consumed, this will reach them and guess what, at the same time, get excited about learning scripture in a catchy song! However this this time, it’s our Lord and saviourJesus Christ’s tool.

The Key: Biblical Conviction + Creative Stewardship

The danger is when AI becomes the preacher instead of the pen and especially, false teachings and content that is not based on the truth of the Gospel or Biblical.
When we stop writing from the heart.
When we rely on automation and forget the anointing.
When it is used for evil, distort the truth, to trick Christians to believe lies.

But if we stay rooted in Scripture as we do with what we create from the heart and ALWAYS SCRIPTURE BASED, guided by the Holy Spirit, and committed to truth — these tools become weapons of light (Romans 13:12).

12 “The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.”

Whether it’s blog posts, YouTube devotionals, beats and songs proclaiming the Gospel, — if the content is biblical and the heart is pure, then God can use it to reach souls that no traditional method could touch. In today’s times, we need as much as possible to reach souls because the enemy is infilitrated everywhere in the media. This is a tool that exists and is not going away. Unfortunatelty as well, it can be used for bad instead of good also.

This Is the Digital Mission Field

AI isn’t going away. It’s growing. The can of worms is open and we have to use it for good, not evil.
Instead of running from it, I’m choosing to lead with it — responsibly, creatively, and biblically, in the name of Christ.

And I encourage every believer reading this to do the same:

  • Be bold.

  • Be strategic.

  • Be grounded in the Word.

  • Use the tools of today to declare the timeless message of Christ.

Because the Gospel deserves to go viral, too.
And if we don’t flood this new space with truth, the world will flood it with lies.

Warning – Be Careful and Discern

As mentioned, discernment is very important and we urge you to please “test the spirits” as the word says, and always discern all the content you hear, read, listen to, including ours.

1 John 4:1:

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.”

There is a great deception now with AI being used to spread false information and trick Christians, be very careful.

Final Word

If you’ve been hesitant about using AI as a Christian creator, don’t be. Just make sure it’s not generating your faith — let it serve the faith that’s already in you and especially, use it for good and validate everything you create, read to the number one source of God’s word, discern everything

The tools have changed.
The mission hasn’t.

Let’s take the Gospel to every corner of the internet — and use this tool for spreading the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
